Privacy Policy
What data SF Dojo collects through its forms and Google Analytics, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights under the LGPD.
Who we are
SF Dojo (sfdojo.com) is run by Elias Murakami, a Salesforce Marketing Cloud developer, who is the controller of the personal data processed on this site. Privacy contact: equipe@sfdojo.com.
What we collect and why
When you only read the site, we do not ask for any data. The site stores your light/dark theme choice and your answer to the cookie notice in your own browser (local storage). That information is never sent to us.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4, by Google, to learn which pages are read, where visits come from (search, links, social) and whether the forms work. It only loads if you click "Accept" on the cookie notice; if you decline or do not answer, no data goes to Google. The legal basis is your consent (LGPD, art. 7, I).
With your consent, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_*, valid for up to 2 years) and receives
technical information about the visit: pages viewed, traffic source, device and browser type, and approximate location
(city). Google Analytics is configured without Google signals and without ad personalization, and we do not use
this data for advertising. Google may process this data on servers outside Brazil, under its own terms.
You can change your mind at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer. If you decline, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted from your browser. Your answer is kept for 6 months; after that, the notice appears again.
When you fill in the Diagnosis form ("Stuck on something?"), we store:
- your name, e-mail, WhatsApp number and, if you provide it, your company;
- the tool, the options you selected and the description of your scenario;
- how you prefer to follow up (guidance by e-mail, a call, or help implementing it);
- the date and the version of the consent text you accepted.
When you send a question to "Ask the Dojo", we store your e-mail, your name (optional), the tool and the question text, with the date and the consent version.
We use this data only to answer your request: reading your scenario, replying by e-mail or WhatsApp and, for questions, letting you know when the answer is published. The legal basis is your consent (LGPD, art. 7, I), which you can withdraw at any time.
Answered questions become public content on the site, without your name and without your e-mail. The question text may be edited for clarity and to remove anything that identifies you or your company.
Security and technical logs
To protect the site against abuse (for example, attempts to break into the admin area or automated form submissions), the server logs security events. In these logs the IP address is stored hashed (a code that does not allow recovering the original IP) for up to 90 days. The forms do not store your IP. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (LGPD, art. 7, IX).
How long we keep data
- Diagnosis requests and questions: up to 24 months after submission, then deleted automatically.
- Technical security logs: up to 90 days.
You can ask for deletion before that (see "Your rights").
Who we share data with
We do not sell or give away your data. It is stored with the services the site needs to run:
- Hostinger: website and database hosting;
- Google (Google Analytics): audience measurement, only with your consent;
- Hostinger (e-mail): sending the notification e-mails, from the equipe@sfdojo.com mailbox.
These providers process the data only to deliver the contracted service.
Your rights
Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, art. 18) you can ask, at any time and free of charge, for: confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, deletion, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent. Write to equipe@sfdojo.com. We reply within 15 days.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date below is updated. Changes to what we collect only apply to new submissions, with new consent.
